Saw action in 39 sets and 28 matches with five starts ... finished the season with 61 kills and a 1.56 kills per set average ... had a career-high nine kills against SW Oklahoma State on 9/5/09 ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
As a Freshman in 2008
Saw action in 45 sets and 26 matches, while starting one as a freshman outside hitter ... finished the season with 49 kills and 57 digs ... added seven service aces ... recorded a season-high eight kills to go along with season-high 14 digs at Pittsburg State ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
Beatrice High School
A 2008 graduate of Beatrice High School where she lettered in volleyball all four years for the Lady Orange … her senior year she earned second team all-state honors … she led her team in kills her final two years … her club team, NVA 17 Red, was the 2007 national champion and fellow incoming freshman Mollie Lacy played with her on that team … also lettered in basketball for four years as a center … she earned academic all-state honors her junior year.
