At Washburn: Has started the last 26 games at linebacker for the Ichabods where he has played in 36 career games recording 265 tackles with 122 solo stops and 143 assisted tackles … his tackle tally is ninth all-time at Washburn and his 26 career tackles for loss is 10th as an Ichabod … his 143 career assists tackles is seventh all-time on the Washburn chart.

In 2012: Started all 11 games leading the team with 114 tackles recording 49 solo stops  receiving honorable mention all-MIAA honors … his tackle total was the 14th-best single season total in school history … he finished third in the MIAA in tackles per game at 10.4 per contest … his 11.5 tackles for loss for 21 yards also leading the Ichabods … had a career-high 14 tackles against Northwest Missouri on 10/27 with 11 solo stops and 14 against Southwest Baptist with four solo stops on 09/29 … named the Ichabod defensive player of the year and was the Ichabod defensive skill player of the week two times during the season. 

In 2011: Started all 13 games recording 101 tackles with 48 solo stops en route to second team all-MIAA honors and third team Don Hansen Football Gazette all-region honors … also added 10 tackles for loss for 46 yards and 3.5 sacks … recorded two interceptions returning one 50 yards for a touchdown against Pittsburg State in the NCAA playoffs … had 13 tackles against Truman … a two-time winner of the Ichabod defensive skill position player of the week.

In 2010: Started two games while playing in all 12 recording seven tackles with six solo stops against Abilene Christian … had three other games with six total tackles … recorded 29 tackles on rushing plays.

In 2009: Sat out the season as a redshirt.

Background: As a sophomore, rushed for 775 yards and eight touchdowns … he tallied 995 yards and 21 touchdowns leading the Sunflower league in TD scores … rushed for 1,300 yards and 17 touchdowns as a senior … earned first team all-city, all-league and all-county honors as a senior at running back … was a second team defensive back pick as a senior … named honorable mention all-state and all-metro honors as a junior … finished prep career with 3,070 yards and 46 total touchdowns … named Shawnee Dispatch Player of the Year as a sophomore … named honorable mention all-Johnson County … recorded four interceptions as a junior and four sacks as a senior.
