At Washburn: Returning to cornerback after playing the final five games at linebacker entering his redshirt junior season … has played in 23 games making eight career starts with 36 career tackles.

In 2010: Played in 11 games starting five at outside linebacker recording 24 tackles with 19 solo stops …  recorded a career-high six tackles with five solo stops against Nebraska-Omaha …  also  tallied a tackle for loss against Emporia State.

In 2009: Made two starts recording five tackles with four solo stops all against Colorado Mines in the season opener before suffering injury receiving a medical redshirt.

In 2008: Played in nine games recording seven tackles with five solo stops and a pass break up … had a single-game high of three tackles against Central Missouri … named Ichabod special teams player of the week of the Central Missouri game … led team in kickoff return average with a 20.1 yard average on a team-high nine returns including a 31-yard effort against the Mules.

In 2007: Sat out the season as a redshirt … named the work team offensive player of the week two times prior to the Colorado Mines and the Pittsburg State games.

Background:  Played quarterback for the Cardinals where he rushed for 590 yards as a senior with nine touchdowns and passed for 493 yards and three scores … named honorable mention all-league quarterback and honorable mention all-area by the Independence Examiner … named first team all-league quarterback as a junior after passing for 1,065 yards and nine touchdowns while rushing for 830 yards and seven touchdowns … named team’s offensive MVP as a senior … a state track qualifier in the long jump, triple jump and discus.
