At Washburn: Returns as the starting punter on the Ichabods’ special teams and will hold on field goals and extra points … has averaged 39.4 yards per punt in his career on 103 attempts … his punting average is fourth all-time at Washburn and his 4,054 punting yards is 10th and his 103 punting attempts is 11th entering his senior season.
In 2009: Averaged 38.8 yards per punt en route to honorable mention all-MIAA honors which was tied for fourth in the MIAA … his 35.5 net punting average led the MIAA and was eighth in the nation … recorded 39 punts for 1,513 yards … his yards per punt average was the 17th-best in school history … named to the MIAA’s Academic Honor Roll … a three-time winner of the Ichabod special teams player of the week.
In 2008: Recorded 64 punts averaging 39.7 yards per attempt including a school-record-tying 87 yard punt against Nebraska-Omaha … earned honorable mention all-MIAA honors … his 2,541 punting yards were sixth on the single-season chart and his 64 punting attempts rank eighth on the single-season list … his punting average was ninth on the single-season chart … named to MIAA’s Academic Honor Roll.
In 2007: Practiced but did not appear in any games.
In 2006: Sat out the season as a redshirt.
Background: Played tackle on offense and defense as well as handling punting duties … also played basketball and baseball.
