Biography

As a Senior in Fall 2011
Went 3-3 in tournament singles … advanced to the championship of the Bethany Invitational in the “B” singles flight … went 2-2 in tournament doubles … teamed with Alyssa Castillo to reach the semifinal of the Bethany Invitational in “A” doubles.

As a Junior in 2010-11
Earned first team all-MIAA honors at No. 4 singles and No. 1 doubles … finished with a 12-10 overall singles record going 11-6 in duals and 8-0 in MIAA play … finished 18-8 overall in doubles action going 11-6 in duals, 7-2 in tournaments, and 7-1 in MIAA matches … teamed with Alyssa Castillo to win the “B” doubles flight at the Bethany College Tournament.

Background
Blackim was the No. 3 singles and No. 1 doubles regional champion both seasons at Cowley Community College and was the Junior College National winner of the Arthur Ashe, Jr. Leadership and Sportsmanship Award … while at Broken Arrow High School she placed fourth in the state tennis tournament as a senior earning all-state honors … named the metro player of the year as a junior.
