At Washburn: Has appeared in 28 games making 13 starts recording 46 tackles with 21 solo stops  adding 8.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks returning to a starting defensive tackle position.

In 2013: Started all 11 games at a defensive tackle position recording 22 tackles with 13 solo stops adding 3.5 tackles for loss for 10 yards and 1.5 sacks for six yards … he also recovered a fumble … named the Ichabod defensive lineman of the week after the Fort Hays State game … had a career-high six tackles against Missouri Western on Nov. 9. 

In 2012: Saw action in 10 games making 18 tackles with five solo stops and 3.5 tackles for loss for 11 yards … added 2.0 sacks for 10 yards and forced a fumble … had a then-career-high four tackles against Southwest Baptist.

In 2011: Saw action in seven games and recorded six tackles with three solo stops and 1.5 tackles for loss for two yards while starting two games. 

Background: As a senior he was a member of the Topeka Capital-Journal, Wichita Eagle, Kansas Football Coaches Association and KPreps.com Top 11 teams … the winner of the Bobby Bell Award as the top defensive lineman in the Kansas City area … he recorded 140 tackles with 25 tackles for loss and 10 sacks for the state championship Wildcats … also anchored an offensive line which rushed for more than 3,500 yards … named to the All-Simone team as well as the Kpreps.com Class 4A Player of the Year … selected to the Kansas City Star all-metro team and earned first team all-class 4A all-state defensive line honors as well as first team all-Frontier League and Tri-County honors on both offensive and defensive lines additionally being named the Tri-County Defensive Most Valuable Player … selected for the Kansas Shrine Bowl … a first team Kansas Class 4A all-state as well as first team all-league and first team all Tri-County on both offensive and defensive lines … named Tri-County Defensive Player of the Year … a first team all-Tri-County selection on offense as a sophomore and a second team all-league pick … a volunteer with Big Brothers and Big Sisters and a four-year member of the Honor Roll and three-time class president.
