Tied a Washburn single-game record with seven RBI against Angelo State on Feb. 24 after hitting a grandslam home run and a three-run home run with a double and four hits overall going 4 for 5 with three runs scored … started 24 of 29 games played recording a .157 batting average scoring 12 runs finishing with 12 RBI … named to the MIAA's Academic Honor Roll.

Transferred to Washburn for the start of the 2011 spring semester after redshirting for soccer her first semester at Nebraska … during the 2011 season she appeared in 11 matches in goal for the Lady Blues soccer team making seven starts recording a 1.87 goal against average with 44 saves and one shutout … was a three-time first team all-state soccer selection in high school collecting 642 saves helping the Thunderbirds to a second place finish as a freshman … was a first team all-conference pick four years and a three-time all-region and all-city selection earning team MVP honors as a senior … played for Topeka Select in club action going 9-1 in penalty kick shootouts during time with the team qualifying for four state cup semifinals … was part of the Kansas ODP state select team for six seasons … did not play high school softball as it was the same season as soccer … played on numerous club softball teams earning trips to nationals as well as tournament MVP honors.

Daughter of Jay and Sherri Monhollon … majoring in elementary education with an emphasis in middle school mathematics … her father played baseball at Washburn and her mother was an All-American for the Lady Blues in softball.
