Played in 46 games with 43 starts as a catcher...earned honorable mention all-MIAA after having just one error and a .996 fielding percentage...threw out 18 of 34 potential base stealers...batted .243 the three home runs...went 3 for 4 on April 30 against Northwest Missouri with five RBI off a pair of doubles...had a two-home run game March 12 against Pittsburg State and also drove in a run off a single...had three RBI in an inning against Lincoln on April 13 off a two-run home run and a walk.

Marshalltown Community College
Earned all-conference honorable mention as a sophomore...batted .328 and started 34 games as a catcher...also played catcher as a freshman...graduated with academic honors.

Sioux City East High School
A 2009 graduate of East High School where he played baseball for the Black Raiders...earned second team all-conference and all-district his final two years...earned first team all-state, all-conference and all-district as a sophomore.
