Background: As a sophomore he recorded 41 tackles and one sack for the T-Birds … as a junior he recorded 114 tackles with two interceptions including the game-winning interception return for a touchdown in the district championship game … as a senior he had 95 tackles with three interceptions and two sacks … also played baseball … a Kansas Shrine Bowl selection.
