At Washburn: Will compete for time on the offensive line at right tackle entering his redshirt freshman season.

In 2013: Sat out the season as a redshirt.

Background: As a freshman at St. Charles West High School he was a two-way starter and was also a starter for the baseball and basketball teams … as a sophomore he started on both the offensive and defensive lines on the varsity squad where he recorded 36 tackles … as a junior, he was a first team all-GAC north pick earning honorable mention all-defensive honors after recording 84 tackles as his team won the North co-championship finishing 10-2 winning the regional title … as a senior he was a first team class 4A all-state pick on defense and a second team all-state second team selection on offensive … he was named the defensive player of the year for the GAC north earning first team all-conference on both offense and defense … he was voted team captain and recorded 89 tackles with seven sacks and two fumble recoveries … invited to the Blue/Grey National Combine at the NFL Hall of Fame as a junior and to the Blue/Grey all-star game in Tampa Bay after his senior season … was a three-year first team all-academic GAC north pick, a three-year member of the National Honor Society and a two-year member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
