In 2013: Earned first team all-MIAA honors, second team Daktronics and Football Gazette all-region honors after leading the Ichabods in scoring with 95 points while hitting 14 of 19 field goals and converting 53 of 57 extra point attempts … he was 2 of 2 on field goals of at least 50 yards hitting a 50-yard field goal against Fort Valley State and a 51-yard attempt against Nebraska-Kearney in the season opener … also recorded 17 touchbacks on kickoffs averaging 58 yards per kickoff placing opponents at an average starting position of the 27 yard line … finished fifth in the MIAA in scoring at 8.5 points per game … his 53 extra points were third on the single-season chart and his 14 field goals were fourth and his 95 points were ninth … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2012: Sat out the season as a redshirt.

Background: As a senior at Abilene High School he averaged 37.32 yards per punt on 28 attempts and was 41 of 43 on extra points while connecting on two field goals adding 55 total tackles with 32 solo stops … also competed on the golf team.

Personal: Son of David and Becky Linn … majoring in business … brother Jeremy was Washburn’s placekicker during the 2011 and 2012 seasons.
