As a redshirt junior in 2014-15
Made eight starts playing in 28 games recording 6.7 points per game adding 3.7 rebounds a game with 31 assists and 23 steals … reached double figures in seven games including a career-high 17 against Northwest Indian College on 8 of 13 shooting adding nine rebounds … recorded first career double double against Peru State with 10 points and a career-high 10 rebounds.

As a junior in 2013-14
Appeared in four games averaging 13.0 points and 3.8 rebounds a game before breaking his wrist in practice leading to a medical redshirt … had back-to-back season-high games scoring 15 points against Rollins and against Peru State.

As a sophomore in 2012-13
Made one start playing in all 27 games averaging 4.5 points and 3.2 rebounds per game playing 17 minutes per game … scored a season-high 11 points against Northwest Missouri hitting all seven free throw attempts … scored 12 points in 17 minutes in an exhibition game at Oklahoma hitting 5 of 6 field goal attempts against the Sooners.

On the Ichabods' trip to Europe in summer of 2012
Was the team's third-leading scorer averaging 13.7 points a game second-highest rebounder with 7.7 per game … also added three assists a game … had a double double in the final game against Solrød with 13 points and 12 rebounds.

As a freshman in 2011-12
Appeared in 30 games averaging 3.0 points and 1.7 rebounds a game … scored a career-high 14 points against Northwest Missouri in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on March 10 … hit 31 of 60 field goal attempts for a 52 percent average … had a career-high four rebounds seven times and dished out three assists in two different games.

Background
Started at McPherson High School since his sophomore season where he averaged 18.5 points and 7.1 rebounds a game and he increased his output to 20.4 points and 8.7 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 1.5 blocks a game as a junior … then averaged 23.9 ppg and 8.5 rpg as a senior en route to first team all-state honors as well as being named Mr. Basketball in the state of Kansas … scored 17 points with seven rebounds and six assists in the KBCA all-star game in Lee Arena … named three-time most valuable player of the Ark-Valley Chisholm Trail League earning first team Class 5A as a senior and junior and second team, all-class honors as well leading the Bullpups to a fourth place finish in the state tournament with a 22-3 record … a two-sport standout he recorded 67 catches for 1,158 yards and 12 touchdowns his senior season after gaining first team all-league honors and honorable mention all-state honors as a junior.

Son of Todd and Mary Ulsaker … majoring in economics … sister Brette (Ulsaker) Herber played basketball at Washburn from 2007-10 and is the women's basketball team assistant coach.
