As a Senior the fall of 2013
Recorded a 5-3 singles record and finished 3-3 in doubles action … reached the semifinals of the Midwestern State Invitational in doubles play.

As a Junior in 2012-13
Led the Ichabods with a 20-7 overall singles record with a 14-5 mark in dual matches with a 13-4 mark at No. 5 sinlges … his 20 singles wins tied for ninth on the single-season win chart … in doubles play he was 18-9 overall with a 14-7 dual record and a 5-1 record in MIAA matches … was a first team all-MIAA pick at No. 3 doubles with Chance Joost and was a second team all-MIAA pick at No. 5 sinlges … he reached the round of 16 at the ITA Central Regional in singles play … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

As a Sophomore in 2011-12
Finished the season with a 15-10 singles record leading the team in victories and finished 11-13 combined in doubles play … he earned honorable mention all-MIAA honors at No. 2 doubles … in the fall he was 8-2 in tournament singles play and 4-3 in tournament doubles matches … won the “C” singles draw of the Washburn Invitational … teamed with Arkadiusz Kozaczuk to place second at the Bethany Invitational in “A” doubles … a member of the MIAA's Scholar Athlete Honor Roll and the MIAA's Academic Honor Roll.

As a Freshman in 2010-11
Named first team all-MIAA at No. 5 singles and second team all-MIAA at No. 2 doubles … finished with a 14-7 overall singles record going 9-5 in duals, 5-2 in tournaments and 5-0 in MIAA matches … won the “C” flight of the Bethany College Tournament … recorded a 12-9 overall doubles record going 10-6 in duals and 3-2 in MIAA matches.

Background
Florence finished third in doubles at the class 6A state tennis tournament his senior year at Washburn Rural High School … he also won the Blue Valley Northwest Invitational doubles championship as well as the regional and league doubles titles as a senior.
