Biography
As a Junior in 2014
Started in 10 games as a regular member of the Ichabod rotation...went 1-3 with a 3.76 ERA...threw 48 strikeouts while walking 20 and keeping opponents to a .250 batting average...earned a win March 10 at Missouri Western where he allowed two unearned runs off four hits with six strikeouts through five innings...set a career high with eight strikeouts in 3 2/3 hitless innings March 19 in a no-decision against Lincoln...struck out seven in 6 2/3 innings March 23 at Pittsburg State...pitched the first four innings of a wild game April 26 at Northeastern State...he allowed three runs and was leading 17-3 when he came out thanks to a 14-run fourth inning for Washburn...the RiverHawks scored 13 in the sixth and came back to win 23-22.
As a Sophomore in 2013
Appeared in seven games with one start as a pitcher...went 0-1 with a 9.64 ERA...pitched two scoreless innings on March 29 against Rockhurst as he struck out two and allowed one hit...struck out five on April 11 against Fort Hays State.
As a Medical Redshirt in 2012
Started two games on the mound and went 1-1...earned a win with 5 2/3 innings of work on March 27 against Fort Hays State...struck out five with no walks in the game...ended the year with eight strikeouts and just one walk through 8 2/3 innings of work.
As a Freshman in 2011
Appeared in five games as a pitcher...had a 10.12 ERA with six earned runs in 5 1/3 innings...in three straight outings he gave up just one hit and zero runs in 4 1/3 innings...the final outing during that stretch he went 2 2/3 innings without giving up a hit and he struck out two on April 30 against Emporia State.
As a Redshirt in 2010
Sat out his first season and took a redshirt.

A 2009 graduate of Blue Valley Northwest High School where he was a first team all-Eastern Kansas League selection as a senior.
