As a junior at the University of Alabama he played in 32 games making nine starts recording the best assist-to-turnover ratio on the team at almost 2-to-1 … he scored in double figures in four games averaging 3.7 points per game … had a season-high 20 points on 7 of 8 shooting from the field against Oklahoma in season debut … scored 12 points against Stillman and had eight points, six rebounds and three assists at Arkansas … played 32 minutes against Florida in his first SEC start … prior to Alabama, he was a two-time junior college All-American at Barton County where he averaged 17.6 points and 6.2 rebounds per game as a junior and recorded 18.7 points and 6.5 rebounds a game as a freshman … finished fourth on the school's all-time scoring chart with 1,214 points and was fourth with 315 career assists … named the Jayhawk West Division's Freshman of the Year in 2012 … a first team all-division, all-region pick both seasons at Barton … led the team in scoring, assists and steals in his two seasons at Barton recording one triple-double, 13 double-doubles and had 27 games where he scored at least 20 points with six 30-point games … won state title with Columbia High School as a senior.
