At Washburn: Returns to a starting defensive tackle position … has started 22 of 23 career games recording 71 tackles with 13 tackles for loss and 25 solo tackles adding five sacks.

In 2016: Started all 12 games at defensive tackle recording 37 tackles with 14 solo stops … added 6.5 tackles for loss for 22 yards and three sacks for 14 yards … also broke up two passes and recovered a fumble … named Ichabod power defensive player of the week after the Central Missouri and Missouri Western games … has had a career-high five tackles four times.

In 2015: Started 10 of 11 games recording 34 tackles with 6.5 tackles for loss for 20 yards and 2.0 sacks for 11 yards … also had a forced fumble with two pass break ups … had a season-high five tackles at Emporia State … named the Ichabod defensive power player of the game four times.

Background: A transfer from Mesa Community College where he played in all 10 games as a sophomore and recorded 29 tackles with nine solo stops with a forced fumble … signed with San Diego out of high school … at Northside High School in his senior year he had 70 tackles and three sacks and was named to the All Bi-City 2nd Team.
