Biography

At Washburn: Recorded 123 receptions for 2,147 yards and 16 touchdowns averaging 17.5 yards per catch … appearing in 36 games with 14 starts … his 123 career receptions rank ninth all-time at Washburn and his 2,147 receiving yards are sixth … he grabbed 16 touchdown which sits tied for sixth on the Ichabod charts … a first team all-MIAA pick as a senior and honorable mention selection as a junior.

In 2018: Named second team All-American by the Don Hansen Football Gazette and was a first team D2CCA all-region and first team all-MIAA selection, had 325 more receiving yards than the next closest wide receiver in the MIAA en route to 62 receptions and nine touchdowns with 1,144 total yards, which was the third-best single season total in Ichabod history … was selected for the College Gridiron Showcase … named the Ichabod Offensive Player of the Year and the Ichabod team Most Valuable Player. 

In 2017: Named the Ichabod Offensive Player of the Year after leading the team with 41 receptions for 702 yards averaging 17.1 yards per catch with six touchdowns … an honorable mention all-MIAA selection at wide receiver … had a career-high nine receptions against Fort Hays State and a career-best 139 receiving yards against Central Missouri on seven catches … a three-time Ichabod offensive skills player of the week.

In 2016: Made three starts playing in 12 games and finished second on the team with 20 receptions … had 301 receiving yards and one touchdown coming against Central Oklahoma and averaged 25.1 yards receiving per game … added four tackles on special teams.

In 2015: Appeared in one game at Northeastern State in season finale as a true freshman.

Background: Finished fifth in the county in the triple jump as a senior … as a junior he started on both offense and defense.

Personal: Son of Bob and Florence Hopp … majoring in communications.
