Competed in seven events for the year and played 18 rounds total … posted a 77.0 stroke average … low round was a 70 in the final round of the Washburn Invitational, where he shot a 71 (second lowest) in the opening round … had two top 10 finishes for the year, posting a third place finish at the Washburn Invitational and a fifth place finish at the South Central Kansas Fall Invite (nine-over par) … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

Finished in a tie for 21st at the Kansas Amateur Stroke play and fell in 22 holes in the round of 64 … as a senior at Hutchinson High School he was runner up at the league tournament and was a second team all-league pick at quarterback earning KBCA 6A all-state honors … as a junior he was three meets including the league tournament and placed 10th at the 6A state tournament and was an honorable mention all-league quarterback … as a sophomore he was the league individual champion and also was a second team all-league selection at defensive back … was a member of the National Honor Society.
