Biography

At Washburn
Has an overall record of 36-2 in singles and 27-6 in doubles... Earned MIAA Player of the Year honors as well as Honorable mention honors at the No. 1 doubles spot.. earned the Division II title at the ITA Oracle Cup to become the first female Ichabod to advance to the ITA Superbowl.

As a sophomore in 2016
Posted a record  36-2 singles record and 27-6 doubles record this season... secured the No. 1 spot in Washburn record books for single season singles wins and the No. 2 spot for single season doubles wins... named MIAA Player of the Year after sweeping conference singles action... Earned All-MIAA Honorable Mention accolades at the No. 1 doubles position... Named the team MVP by her peers... ended the season ranked 13th in the country... won the A Flight Singles and Doubles at both the ESU and Wheatstate tournaments...swept singles play at the ITA Central Regional en route to becoming the first female Ichabod to advance to the ITA Oracle Cup...advanced to the doubles final at the ITA Central Regional alongside Jacqueline Engelbrecht...knocked off three nationally-ranked opponents en route to earning the Division II title at the ITA Oracle Cup... first female tennis player at Washburn to advanced to the ITA Superbowl. 

Background: A transfer from SIU-Ewardsville where she went 31-6 overall going 20-3 in dual matches playing No. 3 singles … went 22-7 in in doubles matches going 14-4 at No. 1 … her 31 singles wins were the most by any player at SIUE in the Division I era en route to second team all-Ohio Valley Conference honors … a member of the Dean's List for the Cougars both semesters with a 4.0 grade point average … finished prep career at Washburn Rural with a 100-7 mark in her four years of varsity tennis ... earned all-state honors four years in a row ... a four-time city, league, and regional Kansas 6A champion ... won individual Kansas 6A state championship as a sophomore ... placed fourth in the state championship as a freshman and junior and second as a senior … graduated high school with a 4.0 grade point average.

Personal: Daughter of Jeff and Nanette Hill … majoring in mass media.
