In 2017: As a freshmen she recorded a 5-6 record in the circle in 14 appearances in 77 innings pitched … tossed eight complete games with three shutouts with a 2.82 earned run average … struck out 52 overall … pitched a career-best 10 2/3 innings against Emporia State and struck out seven against Fort Hays State … a member of the MIAA Academic Excellence Award as well as the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and was selected as an NFCA All-America Scholar Athlete.

Background: As a senior she was an honorable mention all-conference pick earning first team all-district, first team all-region and first team all-state honors with a 22-7 record with 265 strikeouts, 35 walks and a 1.36 earned run average … as a junior and sophomore her team was state champions and won conference title as a freshman … three-year member of the principal's honor roll and a two-time all-state academic pick … a member of the National Honor Society
