Biography

At Washburn: A five-year member of the Ichabods appearing in 44 games making 31 starts collecting 34 catches for 392 yards and three touchdowns … a five-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and a two-time selection the MIAA Scholar athlete listing earning all-MIAA honors as a junior and senior.

In 2019: Named honorable mention all-MIAA pick after collecting 12 catches for 180 yards and one touchdown averaging 15.0 yards per catch … started all 11 games … a five-time special teams player of the week and a two-time Ichabod offensive line/power player of the week … had two catches for 57 yards against Northeastern State … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and the MIAA Scholar athlete listing.

In 2018: Made eight starts appearing in 11 games making 10 catches for 84 yards and two touchdowns … had a season-high 29 yards receiving against Fort Hays State … a two-time winner of the Ichabod offensive power player of the week … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and the MIAA Scholar athlete listing.

In 2017: Played in all 12 games collecting seven catches for 46 yards including two for 19 yards against Central Missouri and two for 16 yards against Angelo State in the Heart of Texas Bowl game … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2016: Appeared in 10 games recording five catches for 82 yards including a career-long catch of 31 yards against Central Missouri … also had a 28-yard grab against Central Oklahoma … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2015: Sat out the season as a redshirt … named the Ichabod work team offensive player of the week after the Missouri Southern and Central Missouri games … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

Background: Recorded 41 catches for 460 yards and three touchdowns as a senior, helping the Wildcats to a second-place state finish in 4A Division I and a share of the Centennial League title earning Topeka all-city honors as a senior … was also named to the all-Centennial League first team as a senior after earning all-city honorable mention accolades as a junior.

Personal: Son of Tom Meier and Lori Ammons … father Tom is the Ichabod basketball team's second-ranked scorer and rebounder in program history … majoring in legal studies.
