In 2022: Named to the all-MIAA third team ... started and played in 52 games and finished the year batting .290 and was in the top-five on the team with 60 total hits (T-third) that included seven home runs (fourth), 15 doubles (T-third), and two triples (T-third) ... scored 47 times (T-third) and drove in 38 runs (fourth) ... led the team with 12 stolen bases ... also drew 18 walks (fourth) and was hit 11 times (T-third) ... recorded 19 multi-hit games (third) and 12 multi-RBI games (second) ... hit the walk-off sacrifice fly in the 12th inning against Fort Hays (Feb. 26) and finished the game with three RBI ... on April 16 at Emporia State, drove in what would prove to be the winning run with an RBI double in the top of the ninth ... he was then a part of the 4-6-3 game-ending double play to seal the 2-1 rivalry win ... selected to the MIAA All-Tournament Team ... earned a place on the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
In 2021: Played in 29 games with 28 starts and finished with a .294 batting average ... named to the all-MIAA third team ... had 30 hits, including seven doubles, three home runs, and one triple ... was third on the team with seven stolen bases ... scored 19 runs and drove in 16 ... on April 18 against Rogers State, went 3-3 with a three-run homer and an RBI double ... was named the MIAA Hitter of the Week on April 20.
In 2020: Started all 21 games he played and led the team in triples (four) and tied for the most doubles (six) ... batted .282 with 20 hits and scored 12 runs and had 14 RBI ... also made one appearance on the mound throwing two innings in relief against Regis (Feb. 22), allowing one run on two hits and striking out two.
Before Washburn: Redshirted freshman season at Texas State before transferring to McCook Community College where he hit .303 with 11 home runs, 19 stolen bases, 55 hits and 14 doubles while going 3-3 with three saves on the mound tossing four complete games with a 3.19 earned run average earning all-region honors.
High School: A four-year letterwinner at McNeil High School … four-time member of the all-district 13-6A first team … also named the district player of the year as a senior … posted a .300 batting average four times and recorded a sub-1.00 ERA on the mound his junior campaign … was an Under Armour Preseason All-American and landed on the all-tournament team at the Perfect Game Showcase … started on the football team at MHS and was a four-time member of the all-academic team.
Personal: Son of Warren and Charlotte Chiapparelli … has a brother Jacob and a sister Samantha … majoring in mass media.
