At Washburn: A two-time All-American … owns the indoor triple jump record at 14.77m (48-05.50) with the top 10 jumps in program history … also owns the triple jump record during the outdoor schedule at 15.26m (50-00.75) … has eight of the top 10 marks in the triple jump during the outdoor season … a nine-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2020-21: Named second team All-American after he finished in 11th place in the triple jump at 14.84m (48-08.25) at the 2021 NCAA Outdoor Championships … a mark was the eighth-longest jump in school history … set the school record in the triple jump at the SBU Invite at 15.26m (50-00.75) and then later tied it at the Loper Twilight … competed only in the outdoor season … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2019-20: Recorded an NCAA provisional mark at the MIAA Indoor Championships tying his own school record in the triple jump with a mark of 14.77m (48-05.50) … picked up individual titles at the Nebraska Tune-Up, the Northwest Open and the Nebraska Graduate Classic … outdoor season canceled due to COVID-19 … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2018-19: Sat out the season as redshirt … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2017-18: Finished 20th in the nation at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships with a mark of 14.39m (47-02.50) in the triple jump after qualifying with a first-place finish at the Loper Last Chance Invitational with a jump of 14.76m … had a PR mark at the MIAA Outdoor Championships with a jump of 15.17m (49-09.25) and a seventh-place finish … also won the DeLoss Dodds Invite and the Central Missouri Invite during the indoor season… a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2016-17: Earned all-MIAA honors at the MIAA Indoor track and field championships in the triple jump with a school record mark of 14.66m (48-01.25) placing third overall … won the UCM Indoor Invitational with a mark of 14.52m (47-07.75) … also had a second place finish at the MSSU Lion Indoor Invite … placed fifth at outdoor ESU Spring Invite with triple jump of 46-06.00 before receiving medical redshirt… a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

Background: Competed one year at Minnesota State University Moorhead (Moorhead, Minn.) where he was an All-NSIC performer in triple jump with a sixth place finish of 14.23 meters (46’8.25”) at NSIC Indoor meet … in prep school, lettered in track and field, volleyball, soccer and cricket … had bests of 47-7 in triple jump and 22-3 1/2 in long jump … two-time national secondary schools triple jump champion.

Personal: Son of Joan and Peter Norville … has a brother, Maurice, and a sister, Joanne … plans to major in exercise physiology.
