At Washburn: A two-time All-American and a two-time all-MIAA selection … owns the school record in the decathlon with 7,085 points and four of the top five point totals during the outdoor season … also has the school record in the heptahlon with 5,214 points and the top six point totals in school history for indoor multis … an eight-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll and two0time MIAA Scholar Athlete selection.

In 2020-21: Earned All-American honors with his seventh-place finish in the decathlon at the NCAA Outdoor Championships with 6,874 points … picked up all-MIAA honors at the MIAA Outdoor Championships scoring a school-record 7,085 points finishing third … finished fourth in the heptathlon at the MIAA Indoor Championships scoring 4,986 points … scored 5,057 points winning the heptathlon at the Washburn Open … a member of the MIAA Scholar Athlete and a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2019-20: Named an indoor USTFCCA All-American after qualifying for the NCAA Indoor Championships … qualified for NCAA Indoor Championships with the 15th-best heptathlon point total, but was unable to compete due to the COVID-19 outbreak … earned all-MIAA honors with a third-place finish at the MIAA Indoor Championships breaking his own school record with 5,214 points … won the heptathlon events at the Nebraska Graduate Classic and the Tjeerdsma Classic … earned MIAA Scholar Athlete honors and MIAA Academic Honor Roll accolades … outdoor season canceled due to COVID-19.

In 2018-19: Finished fifth at the MIAA Outdoor Championships setting a school record with 6,431 points … also gained two points finishing seventh in the high jump with a PR of 2.01m (6-07.00) … finished fifth at the MIAA Indoor Championships with a school record 4,893 points in the heptathlon… a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2017-18: Broke the school record in the decathlon with 6,229 points finishing seventh at the MIAA Outdoor Championships and his 4,666 points in the heptathlon is also a school record … finished fifth at the Wichita State Woodman Classic with 5,993 points in the decathlon… a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

Background: Participated in hurdles, 300 hurdles, pole vault, high jump and 4x400 relay and was a two-way starter at wide receiver and corner back on football team as a senior … as a junior he was section champion and state qualifier in pole vault and high jump earning all-league honors … as a sophomore he also participated in soccer and basketball … earned all-league honors in track … named all-league in track as a freshman also playing basketball.
