In 2022: Made three relief appearances and struck out five in 3.2 innings of work ... threw a scoreless eighth inning against the Griffons (March 26) and allowed just one hit, needing only 12 pitches to end the frame ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

Before Washburn: Was a two-year member of the Lindenwood baseball squad ... in 2021, he made five appearances and worked 10 innings and had one save to go with 13 strikeouts ... was named to the all-GLVC academic team.

High School: Played four seasons of baseball at Timberland High School (Wentzville, Mo.) ... as a senior, tossed 49 innings and finished with a 6-0 record and a miniscule 0.91 ERA ... was named to the all-conference first team and participated in the senior all-star game ... pitched 30 innings his senior season and finished with a 4-0 mark and 2.51 ERA en route to earning a place on the all-conference second team.

Personal: Son of Ryan and Amy Burcham ... has one sister, Brooklyn ... his mother played basketball at Central Missouri ... majoring in mass media.
