At Washburn: Played one season at Washburn after transferring … will join coaching staff as a graduate assistant starting the 2023 season.

In 2022: Appeared in six games throwing for five touchdowns and 659 yards making two starts during the season … passed for 251 yards and two scores against Pittsburg State and 215 yards and two scores against Missouri Southern in a win over the Lions … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

Background: A transfer from Northern State where he appeared in 12 games for the Wolves … a two-year starter and two-year captain at Iowa City High School … he passed for 2,140 yards passing and 20 touchdowns as a junior … he was an All-District and Academic All-District selection … also a member of the basketball, track and field, and baseball teams.

Personal: Son of Gene and Cathy Taylor … a sister, Casey … father is the athletic director at Kansas State … working on master’s of education at Washburn.
