At Washburn: Returns to the starting quarterback position after starting six games pasing for 11 touchdowns and 1,348 yards … enters senior season  with 4,665 passing yards which is fourth on the all-time chart needing 1,861 passing yards and 14 touchdown passes to move into first all-time on both charts.
In 2006: Started the first six games of the season playing with a shoulder injury passing for 1,348 yards and 11 touchdowns averaging more than 224 yards per game through the air … named MIAA Offensive Player of the Week after passing for 309 yards and five touchdowns in season-opener against Colorado Mines …passed for 330 yards the following week against Western Washington.
In 2005: Started all 12 games and passed for a school-record 2,775 yards completing 168 of 297 passes with 24 touchdowns … passing total also set a sophomore record … passed for a career-high 348 yards in season opener against Colorado Mines … was 16th in the nation in passing efficiency with a 153.0 ranking and 46th in the nation in total offense with 219.2 yards per game … tossed five touchdown passes against Central Washington … an honorable mention all-MIAA pick.
In 2004: Started one game against No. 3 ranked Pittsburg State on the road and appeared in seven games overall … passed for 542 yards completing 45 of 80 passing attempts with five touchdowns … completed 56 percent of his passes.
In 2003: Sat out the season as a redshirt.
Background: Was an all-league, all-district and honorable mention all-state selection for Elkhorn High as a senior … was a 2003 Nebraska Shrine Bowl participant … a three-year basketball letterwinner and an honorable mention all-league pick … a two-year letterwinner in baseball and one in track.
