The Vision

The Washburn Indoor Athletic Facility will serve as the new home to Washburn Athletics. Opened in November of 2020, the facility will feature a state of the art 110-yard football field, 200-meter banked competition track, and seating for 1,500.

Only Banked Track in NCAA Division II 

A 200-meter banked competition track runs parallel to the football field and has additional lanes for sprint and jump events. A facility of this magnitude will give our student-athletes– all 425 of them – the edge they need to compete athletically. Their success on the playing field and in the classroom will enhance Washburn Athletics, Washburn University, and the entire Topeka community.
