Played baseball during the 2012 and 2013 season for the Scotties...took a medical redshirt in 2011...earned an associates degree in arts.

Hayden High School (Topeka, Kan.)
A 2010 graduate of Hayden High School where he lettered in baseball all four years...earned all-state as a junior and senior...played basketball all four years and football as a freshman and senior...earned all-state in football as a senior.

Son of Murray and Brenda Head...majoring in fine arts...born in Topeka, Kansas...his brother, Jerad, played baseball at Washburn from 2003-05 and went on the play with the Cleveland Indians...his brother, Adam, played basketball from 2006-07 and Jerad played from 2002-05...his parents played sports at Kansas State with his dad playing football and his mother playing tennis...his grandpa and uncle also played football at K-State with his uncle, Monte Bennett playing in the NFL with the Saints...his grandpa, Ed Head was athletic director at Washburn...his uncle, Torrey Head, played basketball at Washburn and was an assistant coach.
