In 2022: Finished the year with a 4-0 record and a 4.15 ERA in 17 relief appearances on the mound ... threw 13.0 innings and notched 16 strikeouts ... earned his first win as an Ichabod against Emporia State (March 1) after working a scoreless inning and allowing just one walk while striking out three ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

Before Washburn: Started collegiate career at Barton Community College in the 2019-20 school year.

High School: Played baseball at Nemaha Central High School in Seneca, Kan. 

Personal: Married to Laura ... son of Dan and Jenny Gerety ... has two brothers, Tyler and Reese, and one sister, Reagan ... his father played baseball at Highland and his mother played volleyball and softball at Cloud County CC ... his brother Tyler is a member of the Kansas baseball team ... majoring in data analytics.
