Biography

As a sophomore in 2026: Played in 47 games making 46 starts behind the plate ... hit .257 with a .362 and .693 OPS across 148 at-bats ... hit two home runs with five doubles to drive in 17 RBI, also went 3-4 in stolen base attempts ... led the team with 333 putouts in the field, also had 44 assists and threw out 19 base runners ... tied a career-high with four hits on April 18 against Rogers State ... hit first career home run at Missouri Southern on March 14 ... had ten multi-hit games with four games driving in multiple runs 

As a redshirt freshman in 2025: Appeared in four games making one start ... had five hits batting .714 across 7 at-bats with two RBI ... went 4-4 with two runs and two RBI in his first career start against Northwestern Oklahoma State on April 22 ... first career hit came on March 3 at William Jewell 

As a redshirt freshman in 2024: Sat out the season as a redshirt  

High School: Will be a four-year member of the Salina Central High School baseball team … as a sophomore, was named to the All-League First Team as a Designated Hitter and an Honorable Mention for catcher as he finished the year with a .421 batting average … the following season, he was an All-League First Team and All-State Second Team selection as a catcher, hitting .381 with seven home runs … also a three-year participant in football where he earned All-League Honorable Mention at linebacker twice … also competed in wrestling as a freshman

Personal: Son of Brian and Julie Richardson … has one sister, Jera, and a brother, Brogen, who played baseball at Emporia State … majoring in entrepreneurship and innovation
