In 2016: Started five games and appeared in 33 contests … hit .262 (11-for-42) at the plate and had two home runs and two doubles … drove in six and scored 14 runs, working three walks and three hit-by-pitches … went 11-for-12 in stolen base attempts for the season … had 13 putouts and 23 assists … posted .452 slugging and .354 on-base percentages at the plate … had two multi-hit games and one multi-RBI contest, when he drove in four at Nebraska-Kearney with a grand slam on April 2.
 
In 2015: Started three games at shortstop with 21 appearances for the year … hit .300 at the plate with six hits in 20 at bats … posted a .474 slugging percentage and a .391 on-base percentage … drew two total walks on the year … hit a home run and had four RBI against Bemidji State on March 5 … was 1-for-2 on stolen base attempts and had a .947 fielding percentage.
 
In 2014: Played in 20 games with 17 starts at shortstop ... batted .213 with 10 hits in 47 at-bats ... went 2 for 3 with an RBI on March 29 against Northwest Missouri ... went 2 for 4 with a run scored on April 5 at Emporia State.

In 2013: Did not play … redshirted.

Background: A 2012 graduate of Wellsville High School (Wellsville, Kan.) where he lettered in baseball all four years for the Eagles ... played shortstop and earned First Team All-League his final three years ... earned First Team All-State his final two years ... his team finished second in state his senior year ... played football for three years as a safety and quarterback and was a guard on the basketball team for two years ... earned honorable mention All-State his junior year for football.
