As a Junior in 2008
• He appeared in 15 games with 11 relief appearances and four starts.
• Earned all-MIAA honorable mention as a junior pitcher.
• Finished the year with a 4.03 ERA, a 1-5 record and six saves.
• He had a perfect 0.00 ERA through his first 10 relief appearances and it wasn’t until his final game of the year that he gave up an earned run in relief. His ERA out of the bullpen was 1.05 and he walked just seven through 25 2/3 innings.
• He finished third in the MIAA with six saves and that total is tied for the fourth highest single-season total at WU.
• He had seven scoreless outings with all but one of them totalling at least one full inning of work.
• He pitched a career-high 7 2/3 innings in relief in a 14-inning game at Central Missouri on 03/20. He struck out seven batters and allowed two hits.
• He struck out a career-high eight batters on 04/01 against Fort Hays State.
• He won his first start at Washburn, 10-3 against Upper Iowa. He pitched six innings and allowed three runs off five hits.

Seward County Community College (2005-07)
• Pitched for two years for Seward County Community College.
• Named to the dean’s and president’s honor roll and earned the W.A. Shufelberger award for academics and athletics.

Silver Lake High School
• A 2005 graduate of Silver Lake High School where he earned 12 letters in three sports.
• Played pitcher and first base as he earned all-state his junior and senior year. He also earned all-league honors his final three years.
• Earned all-league and all-class honors as a football player and was a two-time state qualifier in wrestling.

Personal
Born on January 16, 1987 … son of Cindy and Brett Hamilton … majoring in secondary education … his father played football at Washburn in 1978 and his mother played softball and volleyball.
