In 2022: Named to the All-MIAA and NCBWA All-Central Region second teams ... made a team-high 30 appearances, ranking second on Washburn's single season records and tying for seventh in all of Division II for the 2022 season ... tied for the team lead in victories, finishing with a 5-3 record ... earned a team-high five saves ... led the team and was third in the MIAA with 87 strikeouts, while also ranking fifth in WU's single season strikeout records ... finished fifth in the MIAA with a 4.65 ERA and was second on the team in innings pitched (69.2) ... issued just 18 walks, ranking as the fourth-lowest in the conference ... against Fort Hays (Feb. 26), struck out eight batters in 5.1 innings of work and allowed just one run on three hits and one walk ... earned the win at Emporia State (April 16) after throwing 3.1 scoreless innings in relief and surrendering only one hit while striking out four ... picked up the win in a five inning outing against Pittsburg State (April 30) and allowed two runs, one earned, on two hits and two walks to go with six strikeouts ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2021: Appeared in 16 games and pitched 21.1 innings in relief, finishing with three saves, a 1-0 record, and a 4.64 ERA ... recorded 17 strikeouts ... earned his first save of the season against Emporia State (April 9) as he did not allow a runner on base in two innings while striking out four ... picked up the win against Newman (May 1) after coming on in the eighth inning ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2020: Made 10 relief appearances, predominantly holding the role of closer ... led the team in appearances, saves (four), and had a team-low ERA (2.19) ... recorded 10 strikeouts in 12.1 innings pitched ... struck out both batters he faced to notch his first career save at Cal State San Bernardino (Feb. 2) ... longest outing was against Northwestern Oklahoma (Feb. 9) where he tossed three scoreless innings and allowed just two hits ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

Before Washburn: Played two seasons at Pratt Community College in Pratt, Kan. ... made 27 appearances and finished with a record of 5-14 and an ERA of 6.24 ... pitched 124 innings and recorded 111 strikeouts.

High School: Was a member of the Washburn Rural baseball team ... helped the Junior Blues finish third in the 6A state tournament and was a second-team All-Centennial League pick as a junior.

Personal: Son of Amber and Jay Huggins ... majoring in kinesiology.
