Biography
In 2015: Named All-MIAA Third Team as a catcher … earned an MIAA Academic Honor Roll nod … finished the year with averages of .276 batting, .635 slugging and .452 on base … led team in slugging percentage and was second in on base percentage … blasted 16 home runs to finish tied for third in the MIAA, adding a MIAA-leading 34 walks for the year … had eight doubles and was tied for the team-lead with 53 RBI … hit by 18 pitches on the year and went 8-for-10 on stolen base attempts … put together 13 multi-hit games and 14 multi-RBI games (second on the team) including four four-RBI performances … hit two home runs in games against Missouri Western (March 21), at Northwest Missouri (April 16) and versus Missouri Southern (May 7) in the MIAA Tournament … longest hitting streak of the season was six games (April 14 to April 21).
In 2014: One of two players to start all 50 games for the Ichabods last year ... started 46 at catcher and four as designated hitter ... named First Team All-MIAA as a catcher ... finished fourth on the team hitting .325 with 55 hits in 169 at-bats ... led the team and tied for 10th in the MIAA with eight home runs ... finished fourth in the MIAA with four triples ... led the team with a .569 slugging percentage after recording 21 extra-base hits ... second on the team with 34 RBI ... finished third in the league throwing out 16 base runners and had a .985 fielding percentage behind the plate with five errors in 333 attempts ... went 3 for 3 with five RBI and two runs scored April 8 against Rockhurst ... had a grand slam in the first inning that game and an RBI double in the second as Washburn won 10-5.
In 2013: Played in 26 games with 20 starts as Washburn’s backup catcher ... hit .188 with 13 hits in 69 at-bats ... had a home run and two triples ... went 2 for 3 with a home run, walk and two runs scored on April 20 at Central Oklahoma ... had four errors with a .967 fielding percentage ... threw out 11 of 43 attempted base stealers.
