Played two seasons at JCCC as a pitcher...named to the Jayhawk Conference All-Academic team two years and the JCCC Deans Honor Roll in 2008.

A 2007 graduate of Blue Valley High School where he earned the Presidential Community Service Award as a junior and senior.
