As a Sophomore in 2007
• Played in 19 games with 10 starts as a first baseman.
• He hit .386 with 17 hits in 44 at-bats and had a home run and six RBI.
• On 03/12/07 he tied a school record since at least 1999 with six hits. He went 6 for 6 in the game against Minnesota Crookston and drove in six RBI off two doubles and his only home run of the season. He set career highs that day for hits, at-bats, RBI, runs scored and doubles. Twice in the game he had two hits in the same inning.
• He finished the year with five multi-hit games, including a 3 for 5 performance against Missouri Southern on 03/25/07.
• He started the year with a four-game hitting streak and went .688 with 11 hits in his first 16 at-bats.
• In 11 games at first base he had a .962 fielding percentage with three errors in 79 chances.

As a Freshman in 2006
• Broke his leg preseason and missed the year.

As a Redshirt in 2005
• Sat out his first year as a redshirt.

Saguaro High School
• Played first base at Saguaro High School in Scottsdale, Arizona.
• He graduated in 2004, earning honorable mention honors on the all-conference team.
• He was a member of the National Honor Society and a two-time academic athlete award winner.
