As a sophomore in 2025: Appeared in a team-high 19 games out of the bullpen throwing 28.0 innings with 31 strikeouts ... compiled a 5.79 ERA and 1.57 WHIP for a 4-2 record with opponents hitting just .234 ... threw a career-high 3.0 scoreless innings on March 2 against Missouri Southern ... struck out a career-high six against Fort Hays State on March 18 in 2.1 innings ... made three assists in the field 

As a freshman in 2024: Made 14 relief appearances throwing 14.2 total innings ... finished with a 2-2 record, 16 strikeouts and a 11.66 ERA ... threw two scoreless innings with a pair of strikeouts on March 24 at Missouri Southern ... earned his first career win throwing 1.1 scoreless innings against Southeastern Oklahoma on March 19 ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll  

High School: Has played two seasons of baseball heading into his senior season at Liberty High School … in his first year, received All-State and All-Conference honors … as a junior, repeated as an All-Conference pitcher and helped the Blue Jays to a state championship title … will be a three-year member of the basketball team as well

Personal: Son of Michael and Marlene Bennett … has three sisters, Haley, Harley, and Emily … his cousin, Tyler McKay, is currently a minor league pitcher for the Phillies' AA team … plans to major in sport management.
