In 2016: All-MIAA Honorable Mention as Utility … MIAA Academic Honor Roll member … started 53 games for the season as the primary first baseman and closer for the Ichabods … hit .306 at the plate (60-for-196) with 40 RBI and 44 runs scored … blasted three home runs with 12 doubles and a triple for a .423 slugging percentage … worked 33 walks on the year (third on the team) and was hit by three pitches for a .402 on-base mark … went 14-for-19 in stolen base attempts … led the team with 404 putouts while adding 22 assists with a .984 fielding percentage … had 17 multi-hit games including a four-hit performance on April 3 at Nebraska-Kearney … put together 11 multi-RBI games … on the mound, went 0-1 with seven saves and a 5.68 ERA over 12 appearances … tied the school’s single-season saves record … threw 12.2 innings and allowed eight earned runs with nine walks and eight strikeouts … had a perfect 0.00 ERA through the first nine appearances of his season and put together nine shutout appearances … struck out two against Fort Hays State on April 5.
