High School: A three-year member of the Bishop Miege baseball team ... started and played every inning during his first season ... received an Eastern Kansas League Honorable Mention selection as a junior ... helped the team to a 4A State Championship title and earned multiple postseason accolades as a senior, including selections to the first team all-league, second team all-state, and was a finalist for the USA Today Kansas State Baseball Player of the Year ... also played three seasons of football for the Stags and helped the team to a state championship ... was an all-league honorable mention punter as a senior.

Personal: Son of Mike and Amie Shull ... has one sister, Livi, and a twin brother, Luke, who is also on the baseball team ... majoring in business marketing.
