Appeared in 10 games with eight starts on the mound...went 1-4 with a 5.44 ERA...led the team with 49 2/3 innings pitched and was second with 38 strikeouts...threw two complete games...struck out a season-high six batters four different times...earned his win on 03/18/13 at Emporia State as he allowed one earned run off six hits with six strikeouts...earned a save at Pittsburg State on 03/08/13 as he pitched two hitless innings in a 5-1 Washburn win.

As a Freshman in 2012
Appeared in 12 games with nine starts on the mound...went 2-4 overall and 1-4 as a starter...earned a win against Southwest Baptist on March 25 after giving up three runs on seven hits with six strikeouts...finished the year with 29 strikeouts...pitched 1/3 inning of relief against Missouri Southern on April 7 to get a win as Washburn won in walk-off fashion the next half inning.

A 2011 graduate of Mill Valley High School where he lettered in baseball all four years...his senior year he earned first team all-league and second team all-state...earned first team all-league as a junior...lettered in football three years...carried a 3.93 GPA.
