High School: Graduated from Washburn Rural HS in Topeka, Kan., where he lettered in baseball and football ... helped the Jr. Blues baseball team to a combined 26-19 record during his junior and senior seasons ... in 2018, as a senior, helped WRHS to a 14-9 record with an appearance in the Kansas 5A state tournament ... an accomplished quarterback, threw for over 1,300 yards in his career ... in summer 2018 played for the Topeka Golden Giants, helping the team to a 27-11 record and a Mid-Plains regular-season title.

Personal: Son to Louisa and Craig ... has two sibling, Mitchell and Samantha ... his father, Craig, played football at Colorado Mines and is the head football coach at Washburn ... his mother, Louisa, is Washburn's director of undergraduate nursing student services ... his brother, Mitchell, plays football at Washburn ... his sister, Samantha, was a member of the Kansas swim team ... majoring in law enforcement.
