As a sophomore in 2026: Played in 41 games and made 38 starts around the diamond ... hit .226 with a .308 OB% for a .585 OPS across 137 at-bats ... hit one home run with four doubles to drive in 18 runs on the year ... went 2-3 in stolen base attempts and in the field made 72 assists with 62 putouts ... had six multi-hit games with three games slashing three hits ... three games with multiple RBI ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll 

As a freshman in 2025: Appeared in 18 games making 11 starts while hitting .367 with a 1.058 OPS across 49 at-bats ... collected 18 hits with three home runs and 12 RBI ... worked five walks for a .446 OB% ... had four multi-hit games with two three-hit efforts ... first career home run came on March 28 against Arkansas-Fort Smith while driving in a career-high three RBI ... made 18 putouts and four assists in the field ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll  

High School: A four-year member of the Lincoln East baseball team … hit .337 and helped the Spartans to a 31-4 record and Class A State Championship as a junior … also played four seasons of football and two years of basketball … member of the national honor society and was a two-time Academic All-State and Academic All-Conference selection

Personal: Son of Shelly and Jason Laessig … has a sister, Ella … plans to major in business
