Biography

In 2015: MIAA Academic Honor Roll member … appeared in 47 games with 44 starts … hit .299 on the year (38-for-127) while posting .409 slugging and .399 on-base percentages … tied for third on the team with two triples, had seven doubles and one home run … drove in 20 runs while scoring 31 of his own … worked 18 walks for the year and went 11-for-15 on stolen base attempts … had a .971 fielding percentage … put together two three-RBI performances on the year (Bemidji State on Feb. 13 and at Northwest Missouri State on April 17) … finished the season with nine multi-hit games and six multi-RBI games … had a nine-game hitting streak from April 14 to April 23 … his lone three-hit game of the season was in the MIAA Tournament first round at Missouri Western (May 1).
 
In 2014: Played in 27 games with 22 starts ... started in left field 21 times and as designated hitter once ... batted .299 with 23 hits in 77 at-bats ... had a season-high four RBI in his first game, February 22 at Lindenwood as he went 2 for 5 with a three-run triple and an RBI single ... went 6 for 8 in consecutive games March 28 and 29 against Northwest Missouri ... had a .931 fielding percentage with two errors in 29 attempts ... had two outfield assists.

In 2013: Played in nine games with five starts in left field ... hit .133 with two hits in 15 at-bats ... had a double on February 19 at Fort Hays State ... had a .909 fielding percentage with one error in 11 attempts.

Background: A 2012 graduate of Grandview High School (Aurora, Colo.) where he lettered in baseball his final three years as a center fielder for the Wolves ... hit .400 as a senior and .368 as a junior ... earned First Team All-City and All-Centennial League his final two years ... helped his team win the league championship twice and go to the state quarterfinal twice ... had a perfect fielding percentage during his high school career.

Personal: Son of Drew and DeeAnna Soicher ... majoring in mathematics ... born in Seattle, Wash.
