In 2016: Made 12 appearances as a reliever … posted a 3.27 ERA over 11 innings pitched … struck out seven and allowed just four earned runs (13 total) … held opponents to a .313 batting average … struck out two in back-to-back appearances against Pittsburg State (3/21) and Southwest Baptist (4/8).
 
In 2015: 14 appearances last year as a reliever … Posted a 3.06 ERA while compiling a 2-0 record ... Struck out 10 batters and allowed five walks, giving up six runs in 17.2 innings pitched … earned a save against Southwest Baptist on Feb. 20 … earned wins against Southwest Baptist on Feb. 19 and at Northwest Missouri on April 17.
 
In 2014: Pitched in two games out of the bullpen in March before an injury kept him out the rest of the year ... gave up one run and two hits through three innings for a 3.00 ERA and no decisions ... pitched two scoreless innings March 9 at Missouri Western and gave up just one hit.

In 2013: Pitched in 10 games with two starts ... had a 0-2 record with a 16.97 ERA ... had three scoreless appearances and one hitless appearance.

Background: A 2012 graduate of Lee’s Summit West High School (Lee’s Summit, Mo.) where he played baseball his final three years ... earned All-State honorable mention his senior year ... earned All-District and All-Conference his sophomore and junior years ... his team finished first in the district his last year ... played over the summer and threw a no-hitter as a senior and made the Ban Johnson All-Star team.
