• Appeared in nine games with a 1-0 record and a 4.20 ERA.
• His 4.20 ERA was the third lowest on the team.
• Six of his nine outings were scoreless outings.
• In his final four appearances he pitched seven innings of scoreless relief with seven strikeouts.
• In his only decision of the year he allowed one hit and no runs in 2 1/3 innings of relief in a win against Mary on 03/01/06.
• Struck out a season-high three in three innings of work against Central Missouri on 05/13/06.

As a Freshman in 2005
• Appeared in 10 games as a relief pitcher.
• Pitched 17 innings, striking out 10 and walking five.
• Had consecutive shutout appearances as he pitched two innings against Missouri-Rolla on 04/09/05 and two at Missouri Southern 04/24/05.
• Struck out three batters in 2 2/3 innings against Fort Hays State on 03/12/05.

As a Medical Redshirt Freshman in 2004
• Pitched in four games but was granted a medical redshirt.
• Appeared in four games, tossing 8 2/3 innings of relief.
• Went one scoreless inning against Minnesota-Crookston 03/15/04.
• Went four innings at Rockhurst 03/23/04, giving up just one run (unearned) on four hits but suffered the loss.

Background
• A 2003 graduate of Sabetha High School, where he played baseball, football, basketball and golf.
• Was an all-league selection in football, earning honorable mention all-state honors.
• Was also all-league in basketball and earned third team Class 3A all-state honors.
• Also garnered all-league and all-state honors in golf.
