High School: Was a four-year member of the Manhattan baseball program ... as a sophomore helped the Indians to an 18-2 record and qualify for state ... earned All-State honorable mention honors and was an All-League first team selection as a junior ... repeated the honors as a senior while helping lead Manhattan back to the state tournament with a 21-8 record ... also played two years of basketball, ran cross country two years and participated in marching band for four
