Background: For his career, finished with 259 receiving yards on 14 receptions, recording three touchdowns as a tight end … defensively for his career, has 70 tackles (six for loss), 1.5 sacks and two interceptions … named All-District at linebacker as a junior … four-year letterwinner in football, playing defensively and offensively all four years … four-time Academic All-Conference selection … team was the runner-up at the 2012 Class 6A State Championship (sophomore season) and reached the district championship during his senior season.
