At Washburn: A five-year member of the Ichabods appearing in 31 games recording 79 tackles and two interceptions after moving from quarterback to linebacker prior to 2022 season … a five-time member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll. 

In 2024: Started all 11 games at linebacker, making 46 tackles with 24 solo stops … added three pass breakups … season-high seven tackles against Pittsburg State … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll. 

In 2023: Made two starts playing in all 11 games … recorded 32 tackles with 20 solo stops adding a 1.5 tackles for loss with two interceptions for 31 yards … a two-time defensive skill player of the week …  had a career-high seven tackles with six solo tackles against Fort Hays State … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2022: Played in six games recording a tackle against Missouri Western after moving to linebacker … a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2021: Appeared in three games completing both passes for 12 yards ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

In 2020: Season canceled because of COVID-19 ... named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.

Background: An honorable mention all-league selection as a senior and junior … passed for 388 yards and five touchdowns in a shortened senior season… as a junior he passed for 837 yards and rushed for 73 yards with 14 total touchdowns … also competed in basketball and track and field.

Personal: Son of Tim and Stacy Callaghan … his father is the head football coach at Shawnee Mission West … three sisters, Samantha, Alyssa and Nicolette … majoring in business.
