At Washburn: Will compete for time at quarterback entering the fall as the No. 2 starter on the depth chart … has appeared in 13 games passing for 398 yards and three touchdowns completing 25 of 50 passing attempts.
In 2010: Appeared in four games passing for 105 yards after completing 10 of 21 passes and one touchdown …was 4 of 7 against Truman passing for 72 yards and a touchdown against the Bulldogs … named to the MIAA’s Academic Honor Roll … started 36 of 40 games for the Ichabod baseball team at catcher recording 21 hits with 14 RBI and a home run while throwing out 16 base runners.
In 2009: Played in seven games completing 12 of 24 passes for two touchdowns accounting for 259 yards … also had two carries for 14 yards … connected on 4-of-5 passing attempts for 123 yards including a 66-yard pass and a touchdown against New Mexico Highlands … named to the MIAA’s Academic Honor … made 30 starts for the Ichabod baseball team batting .247 with 24 hits scoring 11 runs, driving in 11 with two home runs … named a Capitol Federal True Blue Savings Scholar at the 2009-10 MVP Senior Banquet.
In 2008: Appeared in two games at quarterback completing 3-of-5 passing attempts for 34 yards including an 18-yard completion at Pittsburg State … named to the MIAA’s Academic Honor Roll … named the Ichabods’ work team offensive player of the week leading up to the Pittsburg State game … also started 43 games at catcher for the Ichabod baseball team batting .287 during conference season.
In 2007: Sat out the season as a redshirt … was named to the MIAA’s Presidential Scholar list after recording a 4.0 GPA … named the Ichabod offensive work team player of the week prior to the Northwest Missouri game … led the Ichabod baseball team with a .350 batting average starting 43 of 46 games at catcher … he also led the team with 57 hits, 33 runs scored and 21 multi-hit games.
Background: Passed for 2,704 yards and 29 touchdowns and rushed for 13 touchdowns as a senior earning Topeka Capital-Journal and Wichita Eagle Top 11 honors … named to Kansas Coaches Association Top 11 as well as first team all-state class 6A … a two-time all-city pick, two-time all-metro pick passing for more than 5,000 yards and 50 touchdowns in his career … also named first team all-state in baseball three times … a three-time all-metro pick and a three-time all-league pick … named to the 2007 Kansas Shrine Bowl.
